BBF Invited to Participate in Boston Family Days

Boston By Foot has been invited to participate in Boston Family Days, and will partner once again with the City of Boston after recently launching free weekly walking tours of Boston City Hall.

Boston Family Days provide students who live in Boston and their families free access to many of the City's world-class cultural institutions and attractions.

The program - an extraordinary public-private partnership between the City, corporate and philanthropic partners, and 26 of the City’s leading cultural institutions - helps Boston school-aged children feel at home in places that can expand their learning and show them the world. All students who live in Boston (grades K-12 and Boston Pre-K) and two guests can explore many of the City's cultural institutions for free.

For 2026 Boston Family Days, Boston By Foot will offer more than a dozen walking tours. Please refer to the tour schedule below.

7th grade and below:

North End By Little Feet - Sunday August 30th at 11am (20 tickets)

Boston By Little Feet - Saturday September 12th at 10am (25 tickets) & 11am (25 tickets)

North End by Little Feet - Sunday September 13th at 10am (20 tickets)

Boston By Little Feet - Saturday September 19th and 11am (25 tickets) & 1pm (25 tickets)

Back Bay By Little Feet - Sunday September 20th at 11am (20 tickets)

8th grade and up:

Slavery and Abolition - Saturday September 12th at 11am (20 tickets)

Dark Side of Boston - Friday September 18th at 6:00pm (25 tickets)

Boston’s LGBTQ Past - September 19th at 11am (20 tickets)
