Community Engagement Volunteer

Boston By Foot, Inc. is an educational nonprofit organization dedicated to inspiring locals and visitors to discover and appreciate the diverse stories of Boston by exploring the cityscape together. Boston By Foot depends on the time and talents of its over 200 volunteers to support its mission-driven programming.

Community Engagement Volunteers serve on the Community Engagement team to support development of community collaboration and partnerships. Volunteers in this role serve under the direction of staff.

    1-2 hours per month

Duties include assisting staff with:

  • Provide information about BBF programs to libraries, community centers, civic organizations and neighborhood groups
  • Assist staff with new and ongoing community development, partnership and engagement projects
