In August 2020, Boston By Foot was named as 1 of 146 arts and cultural organizations in the city that will receive a grant through the Boston Cultural Council (BCC).

Boston Mayor Martin J. Walsh and the Mayor's Office of Arts and Culture released the names of all 146 arts and cultural organizations that offer programming in the City of Boston and were 2020 grant recipients. A total of $490,000 in organizational grants were awarded through the BCC. These funds support innovative arts, humanities, and interpretive sciences programming with the goal of enhancing the quality of life in the city.
